Kennel Training: Althea enjoys her kennel, especially the treats she gets when she goes in! She has been left up to 4 hours but will get very restless if not let out.

House Training: We've been working hard on this! If we take her outside she will always go but is still learning to indicate. She has a natural bathroom schedule so consistency is key with Althea. There are still some house accidents.

Personality: Althea is so happy and joyful all the time! Althea had a rough start, arriving with mange & infection but she has overcome it all and has a clean bill of health, and it shows. She is cute & playful and loves to play with anybody or dog that is willing! Althea's favourite toys include cereal boxes, empty milk jugs, and water bottles inside old socks. Her fav activities include chewing on her toys & bones (hasn't destroyed single thing!), wrestling and being outside. She loves all the snuggles & pets too though. She sleeps by herself on a dog bed in our room at night, but looks for morning cuddles. She is incredibly smart so training won't be a problem. She is doing great on recall so far and sits for her meals. She is good with all dogs & children, but has not been around cats as far as we know. Althea is adorable, sweet, & clever and everyone absolutely loves her. We know her perfect family is just waitijg to find her!

Medical Care: $350.00 at the time of adoption; $100.00 can be returned or donated once fixed according to contract standard. MEDICAL NOTE: Medical Note: Althea has vaginitis which is swelling of the vagina. She took some meds to help with the swelling and discomfort. Suggestion is probiotics and for her to experience a heat before before being spayed.
