Kennel Training: Alder has mixed feelings about being confined but is making progress. He sleeps in his crate in the bedroom at night and settles quickly after a minute or two of puppy protest. He’s slept for up to six hours overnight before needing a bathroom break.
During the day, he stays in a playpen equipped with food, water, toys, blankets, and pee pads. While he may voice his opinion briefly when left alone, he settles quickly and spends most of his time sleeping. He also shows impressive bladder control, often waiting until his lunchtime break (about four hours) rather than going in the pen.”

House Training: Alder is doing his best and making good progress. He’s learning to use pee pads consistently and will often make his way toward them when he needs to go, though carpets can still be a little confusing at times. When taken outside, he’s been very reliable about doing his business on the grass.

Personality: Sweet, affectionate, and curious, Alder is a happy-go-lucky little guy who loves being close to his people and canine friends. He enjoys playing with his foster brother, but is also content entertaining himself with toys, especially stuffies! He’s already showing early signs of being a great fetch partner.
Alder has a gentle play style and isn’t overly rough, though he is currently in the classic puppy “chewy” phase and enjoys sampling fingers, toes, and hair. Thankfully, he’s easily redirected to appropriate chew toys.

Medical Care: One round of vaccine and two rounds of dewormer.
