Kennel Training: She is kennelled when I’m gone. She sleeps with me during the night with no issues. Can be an early riser and usually starts playing with my other foster dog!

House Training: Dixie had quite a few accidents the first day. I think she was just so excited to play with everyone. She is definitely excites pees, especially when seeing the other dogs. She uses our doggy door when we are home. She will whine when needing to go out.

Personality: Dixie is honestly such a sweet girl. I don’t think she had a lot of training when adopted so we have been working on that. She needs work walking on a leash and does react to seeing other dogs. She has a lot of energy, she loves to play with multiple dogs in the house. She does have her calm times and you can find her curled up on the couch having a nap. She is great with people and kids and is excited to meet everyone. She does jump and we have been working on that. She is happy to cuddle with you on the couch or in bed. It’s funny to watch her running around with the other dogs in the house. She is good at sticking to toys for chewing and I don’t really have to worry about her running things. Dixie will need a home committed to exercising her, especially if there is not another dog in the house who will play with her!
